Ubisoft E3 press conference dated for June 6

Thursday, 28th April 2011 19:08 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Ubisoft will hold its E3 press conference on June 6 at 2.30pm PST/5.30 EST at the Los Angeles Theater.

The press briefing will take place the day before E3 starts.

Of course, VG247 will there as it happens to let you know what was shown, who says what, and other lovely bits and bobs.

Last year, Ubisoft announced The Michael Jackson Experience, Battle Tag, Child of Eden, Project Dust, and a release date for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

The first media of Driver: San Francisco was also shown, as well as a date for 2010 – which of course was changed to 2011.

To re-familiarize yourself with all that occurred last year, take a trip back in time to our round up of the presser.

E3 runs from June 7-9.

    I don’t care.

I need Konami Press conference. Last year it was the best press conference in years.

I wonder why everyone’s holding their conference before the big 3′s. Maybe, this year’s e3′s going to drop some nukes.

    @ 6

How i agree with that, but i don’t think they will announce/show it. I wonder if the development is still on hold.

@7: PST to GMT is +7, so it’s 21:30 GMT on monday.

I’m glad to be there again, but I hope the Ubi presser will be both cooler and more entertaining. That laser tag game of last year… what a horror. Child of Eden is also not my cup of tea. More a thing for Tokyo Game Show.

I hope there will be a lot of Ghost Recon and of course something Assassin’s Creed-related to launch in november. And perhaps a suprise Rainbow Six comeback?

Whatever they do, they better not pull the James Cameron-style conference again. That was the worst Ubi conference.

who wants to bet Joel McHale is going to return as a host?

If the latest news about an elite team of six killing bin Laden doesn’t fuel a new rainbow six game then I don’t know what will.

    Hope to hear something soon.
