Nintendogs + Cats moves 1.71 million units worldwide

It looks as though Nintendogs + Cats may have moved over 1.71 million units so far.

The figure is worldwide, but it is unclear whether the figure is for units shipped or sold. We’ll send a mail to get a bit of clarification. Until then, you can look over the firm’s financial supplementary here.

In Japan, the 3DS title has moved d 460,000 units in Japan since it hit the market on February 26.

The game hit Europe on March 25 and North America on March 27 as a launch title for the new handheld, and has sold 1.25 million in the West.
