New L.A. Noire video: ‘Rising through the ranks’ lands April 21

Rockstar has teased a new gameplay video for its violent crime thriller.

Rockstar’s website states that the video will “go in-depth on how, as returning WWII veteran Cole Phelps, you will face criminal cases across 5 department desks of the LAPD – from a patrolman to a Traffic desk detective, to investigating grisly homicides and more…”

The video is due to go live April 21 at noon Eastern time (BST -5hrs).

Alan Wake developer Remedy recently claimed its new animation suite would outperform that of L.A. Noire’s Motion Scan.

L.A. Noire releases for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 17 in the US and May 20 in Europe.

Thanks, CVG

thinking of renting this or buying to pay the developers my bill for owning it:/

i just don’t want the game to be like GTA, it should be heavy story driven like Mafia 2
