God of War 4 out 2012, rumours PSM3

I wouldn’t complained but… they said they are finish with Greek mythology So i don’t know who they are going to make it in 2 years.
ALSO God of War 4 is maybe just workring title…

When i originally heard the online programmer thing, my first thought was online multiplayer DLC for GOW3. That would certainly take it off everybody’s shelves.

^ Especially if it added some new trophies. Not much replay value in GOW3 when its platinumed in about 16hrs. Multiplayer would have been nice. Like time challenges or kill contests(legolas and gimli).

God, i hope the story isn’t as stupid as it was in the last two GoW games.

Unless this is a preqeul or something, i’m pretty damn sure he killed himself and every other living god in the world, so it would be rather difficult to make another.
Also i concur with #5, he should go for jesus this time.

Huge fan of the series and have more than a few Kratos figures in my collection, but they should definitely start a fresh with a new protagonist and new era. God of War was perfect as a trilogy, PSP and Phone games not withstanding, to make any more would be a bit overkill… no pun intended.

DLC makes more sense than a sequel to me.

$15-$20 really R* style full, online multiplayer DLC for GOW3 with trophies, and maybe even a few bonus single player levels pulled from the retail release.

@11: While he actually killed himself we saw that the body disappeared after the credits. He might kill some other gods, a lot of people in Asgard.

Haters or not, we, who have PS3s will be HAPPY, HAPPY if this happens. Maybe he will start in SPOILER underworld or the sea, better graphics, more extras (MORE extras, really 3 was lacking extras but not reasons to replay at all as it is TOO DAMN AMAZING) and multiplayer, yes? I mean, really, that would be so cool but I can’t figure out how it would be yet, and if there is one, you should be able to play with a friend side to side too. GoWIV has to be true!

I think that is just a working title. They should choose a different mythology and a new character for the series.

just because the job listing was for the GoW team does not mean they making a new GoW title, tho, I would love to se another one, but Even Kratos diserves a rest
