DS platformer Fractured Soul lands US publisher

Graffiti Entertainment is to release Endgame Studios' DS platformer in 'quarter 4 2011'.

Graffiti's previous titles including Rogue Trooper: Quartz Zone Massacre for Wii, as well as Mazes of Fate and Black Sigil for DS.

A statement concerning the game and publishing deal was released by Graffiti's Kenneth Hurley.

"Fractured Soul combines the classic platform game with a side scrolling space flight shooter and for added measure, utilizes the DS dual screen for a play field that is extremely unique. We are very excited to add this game to our growing list of published products."

Fractured Soul features five worlds, with each of the DS's two screens showing a slightly different version of each environment and allowing the player to jump between the two at will.  A handful of screens are available via Pocket Gamer.

Elsewhere, Endgame looks to have received its 3DS developer stripes with a brief announcement on the studios' official Twitter feed reading:

"Huzzah! Endgame is now officially a 3DS developer!"

No word yet on Endgame's first 3DS project nor on a European release of Fractured Soul.

Thanks, Joystiq.
