Atlus: Catherine sales exceed expectations in Japan, Demon's Souls still selling in NA

Atlus' parent company, Index Holdings, has announced in its latest financial report that sales of Catherine in Japan are off to a good start and have surpassed the title's initial sales target of 150,000 units, selling 250,000 units as of the end of February.

According to the firm, via Siliconera, Demon’s Souls is also still moving copies in North America where the game has so far shipped around 500,000 units.

Another game, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Hunter, which is a social title that uses a cash-op model seems to be doing well too since its debut on mobile phone platform GREE in November.

It's nice to see Demon's Souls continue to do well and that Catherine exceeded expectations.

Catherine is due to release in the US on PS3 and Xbox 360 in early summer, after having topped the charts on release in Japan.

Thanks, StolenGlory.
