1m Facebook fans needed to unlock 12-minute BF3 trailer

Do you like Battlefield 3? DICE wants to know, and it's dangling an awfully tempting carrot in front of you - 12 minutes of gameplay footage - just for giving the game the thumbs-up.

But you'll have to get a bunch of your friends to do the same thing. DICE and EA will unlock the lengthy gameplay video early - complete with running commentary - if one million gamers "like" Battlefield 3 on Facebook.

Right now, the figure stands at 659,139, so there's a little way to go yet.

We've only really seen six or so minutes of footage from the game at this stage, via the three "Fault Line" trailers, so the idea of more than doubling that count with one click is awfully tempting.

If the game can't round up a million fans, the trailer will be released on Monday anyway, but don't you want to watch it over the weekend?

Here's the most recent Fault Line trailer, to refresh your memory and inspire some "Likes".
