Mortal Kombat: Legacy live action web TV episode 1 is go

Warner’s released the first episode of the Mortal Kombat web TV series ahead of the IP’s game reboot later this month. Check it after the break.

This is directed by Kevin Tancharoen, and stars Jeri Ryan as Sonia, 300′s Darren Shahlavi as Kano and Michael Jai White as Jax. You’re going to get another eight of these. Thanks, Kotaku.

It’s nice to see a company using all it’s resources these days for games. I always think Sony should do more of this considering they own a slew of film studio’s too, it’s nice to see WB is taking games seriously that it’ll call on it’s own vast resources to put something out like this.

Awesome. I specially love the new trailer with full Sektor costume.

Hm… the acting is, questionable. Ruins it a little for me, but maybe that’s part of the point (the acting, not the ruining). Can’t see how it would be though.
