Brink PC system requirements announced with Steamworks

Bethesda has released recommended system requirements for Brink on PC. Read and weep or rejoice, depending on whether you still use an IBM 5150 or not.

Brink on PC will also use Steamworks so that you can net some nifty Achievements, land on the leaderboards, and all the rest of the bells and whistles included with SW.

The Splash Damage shooter lands in stores on May 10 in the US and on May 13 in the EU.

  • Memory: 2GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA 8800GS / ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro or equivalent

  • Hard Drive: 8GB of free space

Ha 8800GS for minumum and i hope they mean GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850 and Quad Core i5 for FULL HD ?! or we talking about serious unoptimized game.

Well, in this case Erth is cheering, which is kinda scary, given that the game has less than stellar graphics.

Looking good though, bring on the Brink!

Those specs reek of half baked port and poor optimisation. I might have to wait on this one now.
