The retail PC version of acclaimed indie platformer Super Meat Boy has now shipped.

As noted on the game’s official site, the Ultra Edition of Super Meat Boy is now on sale at, and should be sold at WalMart stores by this weekend.

The $20 version contains the original version along with tons of extras, such as a art booklet, a mini-poster, the game’s soundtrack, the ability to play as the Alien Hominid in the PC version (it was previously an Xbox 360 exclusive), a warp zone art collection with work from the game’s artists and, well, lots more.

The site also has another update on other Super Meat Boy projects. That includes Mac an Linux ports in the near future, the official level editor, and more.

I just got the steam version early last week, addictive wee game. Great soundtrack too!

I bought it this week on 360. Can’t believe I waited this long: really loving it.

Would buy if it was released in Europe. Not going to buy from Amazon US, as first of all the shipping costs are higher than the cost of the game, and secondly they demand I pay a fairly large “import fees deposit” when I know for a fact that there are no import fees on this order.
