Resistance 3 multiplayer beta access inside select copies of SOCOM 4
Sony said today that multiplayer beta access for Resistance 3 will ship inside select copies of SOCOM 4 on April 19.
The US PS Blog has the details for the beta, which will appear in copies of SOCOM 4 with a “Resistance 3″ logo on the front. Each box will contain a voucher that players can use to download the Insomniac shooter’s online test when it’s ready for release.
Details about what will be included in the beta have yet to be announced.
Apparently, the beta’s date will be revealed when players actually see the voucher inside the SOCOM 4 box.
Resistance 3, from developer Insomniac Games, is due for release this fall.

They’ll let people know how in due course. But it seems like it’s for all plus members at the moment.

Resistance should be more focusing on SP rather then MP just like Crysis 2 … With SOCOM,Killzone and other multiplatform games i don’t believe many people are going to buy for MP.Maybe Coop but competitive just NO.

^ You cant beta test single player, atleast not without ruining the plot…
And anyway, MP betas help devs get opinions on stuff like the controls and options which will also be put towards the SP.

The question is really, if the Beta access is going to be the same we got from Killzone 3 to SOCOM4,frankly, a 6 day head start over the rest of the world is simply not enough the wait of three week shipment time, if the Beta access is restricted to these with the codes, now that is a deakbreaker.
