Thursday shorts: Don’t Take It Personally, Gran Turismo clothing, Galaga Legions
Here’s everything short-based for Thursday. Read it.

- Digital: A Love Story creator Christine Love has released her newest game: Don’t Take It Personally, Babe, It Just Ain’t Your Story. We played this last night and liked it. A lot. Hit the link to download it for PC and Mac. It’s free too. RPS has a full write-up on it.
- Taiwan’s given its take on The Sun’s 3DS dizziness and headaches reports in the only way it can: in animated format.
- There’s a new Galaga Legions trailer over on Joystiq.
- There is an actual clothing line for Gran Turismo. No lie. See?

I hope everyone gets to play Don’t Take It Personally, Babe. For the three or four hours you get out of it, it’s really terrific.

@2 Yeah. It is well worth playing, even for those initially put off by the animé stylings.
There’s no excuse, really: it’s a small, free download that’ll run on pretty much any PC or Mac.

Alec’s write-up got me quite interested, but having played/read the game/visual novel last night I can’t say I was very impressed.
You can see a lot time and thought was put into it, and as a subtle critique of the social networking phenomenon, it does its job.
BUT I couldn’t shake off the feeling I was watching (and occasionally interacting with) a high school themed anime. Not because of the artwork either; more like how the narrative always boiled down to fixing some relationship or the other…
Oh well, maybe I’m just too old or cynical

That’s fair. That was something I explained to someone last night when I emailed him about the game. But for what it is – and bear in mind I am 20, so this would be up my street anyway – it’s terrific.
