PS3 to get exclusive Virtua Tennis 4 demos

Sega said today that PS3 is to get two exclusive demos for Virtua Tennis 4.

The EU Playstation Blog site has info on the first demo, planned for release on April 13. It will offer up part of the first season of the game’s full World Tour mode. Players will be able to create their best tennis player and enter a few tournaments to boost that player’s profile.

The second demo will support both Move and 3D. There’s no date on that one yet.

Meanwhile you can check out a trailer showing off the game’s World Tour mode below. The game releases on May 10 for PS3 and 360.

The sarcasm is grating, guys. It doesn’t appeal to you. I get it.

I’m genuinely looking forward to trying the Move demo. Played a lot of VT3 when I first got my PS3 and wouldn’t mind picking up a new tennis game if the Move support provides an accurate tennis like experience

Be aware…I read in EDGE that the game does not fully support move controls. There is a move mode in which you can play some games, but Move does not seem to work in World Tour and that’s a real bummer.

I own a PS3 myself, but I think exclusive demo’s for multiplatform games is bullshit. As far as I know are demo’s for promotion purposes, not a system seller. It’s like showing the finger to half of your potential buyers.
