Reverie DLC on US PSN an "error", says Lords of Shadow producer

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow producer David Cox has said DLC pack Reverie's release to the US PSN was an error, but it's too late to correct it.

Cox was asked by irate European fans on Twitter why only the US had received the DLC.

"That was put up there in error and it's too late to take it down. I sympathise it's not the best situation," he replied.

The PSN release of Reverie was supposed to be pushed back in line with the delay to the Xbox Live version, but the US PS Store received it in last week's update.

Cox had raised hackles by supporting a PSN delay while an Xbox LIve issue was remedied.

"We believe in treating all our customers equally. This is a multi format game. Everyone gets it at the sane time. That's fair!" he had said.

Reverie is the first of two announced DLC packs for Konami's 3D reboot of the series, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It continues Gabriel's adventures beyond the main plot's conclusion, and features Carmilla's servant Laura.

This is the pack's second delay. No updated release date has been announced.
