Bethesda readies for MMO launches with Irish customer centre
Bethesda parent company Zenimax said today it’s to open a customer support centre in Galway, Ireland. An online customer support centre. For “future massively multiplayer online games”. Anyone see any Bethesda MMOs round here?

Report: Zune dead, no more models to be made
Zune is no more, according to this Bloomberg report, who, citing “a person familiar with the decision,” is claiming that Microsoft will now stop releasing new versions of the handheld.

Report – 1 in 8 US homes own Black Ops
According to an IGN report, a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops can be found in 1 in 8 US homes. The figure comes from the latest census numbers in the country combined with the 13.7 million units sold of the shooter in the country.
The sales number made it the biggest-selling game in the US ever, according to NPD last week.

PlayStation Move Heroes dated for March 25 in UK
Sony’s confirmed it’s to launch PlayStation Move Heroes in the UK on March 25. US was previously confirmed for a March 22 release.
The title, which is Move-based (obviously), sees PlayStation mascots Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Sly Racoon & Bentley all coming together for the game.

Vicarious, Raven Software, High Moon defend Activision in wake of lay-offs
The vocal minority’s opinions only mean so much, but when it’s calling you “the evil empire,” it might be time to set the record straight. Such was the aim of a recent PAX East panel, during which Activision-owned studios Vicarious Visions, Raven Software, and High Moon stormed the stage with some sunshine and butterflies to balance out the publisher’s heaping helping of doom and gloom.
