Easy boss Ben Cousins leaves EA

EA Easy head Ben Cousins has said he has left the studio ahead of today's launch of Battlefield Play4Free.

He tweeted: "@bfplay4free launches this week and it's time for me to leave EA. Very proud of what I've achieved in the last 4 years."

He hasn't said where he is off to next.

Cousins was the general manager of Easy, having overseen the launches of free-to-play PC titles Battlefield Heroes and its latest effort Battlefield Play4Free, which launches later today, as well as helped out with the release of Lord of Ultima from EA Phenomic.

He recently admitted that buying games at $60 was "exploitative."

Thanks, GI.
