Bring your XBL Avatar to life with FigurePrints
Those interested in bringing their Xbox 360 Avatars into the real world may now do so with a figurine to set on your desk at work.
FigurePrints will turn your virtual self into resin for $50 through a select number of pre-determined poses.
This is the same company that creates figures based on people’s World of Warcraft characters.
More information is through the link up top.

I can’t decide if this is the coolest idea ever, or the saddest.

$50 LMFAO I can’t stop laughing. I’m sorry but if you get one of these you are automatically labeled a XBOT for life. You collect figurines because one day they will have tremendous value to a hardcore fan collector but honestly who is going to dig up your time capsule in 200 hundred years and go this is a XBOX avatar figurine this is fucking awesome! This is worth a lot of money.

@4 Just reading your posts kills braincells.
So buying a figure of your avatar makes you a fanboy, but buying a game on the PS3 because it has a Sony character in it… doesn’t? Really?
I guess all those WoW fans who bought figures of their WoW characters are PC bots too, huh?
It’s a fairly reasonable price considering they’re custom made. I wouldn’t get one myself, but it’s still a cool idea.

So would these guys be able to figurines out of pics alone? Theirs some seriously good fan-art out there… would they do copyrighted characters?

@7 I’m pretty sure they only do licenced stuff.

@7 They’re made by feeding model data into a 3D printer, so no, images alone won’t cut it.

@ 6 reading your post would make any woman’s vagina dry up.
Let me break it down for you tool. If you pay $50 for this shit you are a XBOT plain and simple. Its a joke that you’re that much of a fucking die hard fan to pay this much for a shit figurine. If it was $15 maybe but $50 is just highway fucking robbery and they know it. They just know M$ has the dumbest user based that are brainwashed who would pay for stupid shit like this at that price range. Hence XBOT! Jackass!
and your analogy sucked ass just like you.

@11 Thank god my girlfriend is a tranny then, right?
Each figure is custom made and constructed from the 3D data extrapolated from their system, so no, it’s a perfectly reasonable price.
Whether it’s World of Warcraft, Xbox Live, a PlayStation Home avatar (I bet you’d think it was amazing if it was one of those, wouldn’t you?) or whatever else they consider making.

^ your figurine should come with miniature toy set up of a computer and an instruction manual where you can sit the figurine down on how to hack/pirate games for the 360 also
