Select US Walmart stores accepting trade-ins for 3DS
Starting March 27, launch day of 3DS in the US, select Walmart stores will be accepting older DS models as trade-in towards the shinier, newer, 3D version.

Those living in the following states should check with their local store to make sure it is participating: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina.
The Beast of Bentonville will give customers up to $100 in credit toward a 3DS with a trade-in, and even offering up to $200 if you trade-in more than one DS.
Each system will be evaluated before credit is applied, so don’t expect much from one that is beat all to hell and back. Also, the model of DS being traded in will also determine how much credit your receive:
- DS – $20
- DS Lite – $50
- DSi – $75
- DSi XL – $100
The trade-in deal ends on April 30.
Thanks, D’toid.

K-Mart are also doing a $25 towards a game if you buy a 3DS off them in the next week which means I’m cancelling my order at NintendoWorld and going there.
