3DS UK launch - Unboxing video, hardware shots and GAME midnight launch in Derry

Nintendo's finally kicked open the door and unleashed 3DS to the UK and Europe, with the US launch not due for another 48 hours. We bought ours last night from a GAME in Northern Ireland. See it emerge after the break.

There's a near five-minute unboxing video of the device below.

We also took some photos of a local midnight launch at GAME in Derry, Northern Ireland. It was a bust, to be honest. Only about 14 people showed up before midnight, with two or three more appearing afterwards. One of them was there just to get Crysis 2.

By comparison, the last midnight launch the store did was Modern Warfare 2 in 2009, and that brought in a crowd of somewhere in the region of probably 200-250 people. But we stuck at it and got some pictures.
