Quick Shots – X-Men Destiny’s Aimi Yoshida
The latest X-Men Destiny character is a troubled Japanese schoolgirl with super acrobatic combat powers. Silicon Knights knows its demographic.

Aimi Yoshida’s backstory sees her being smuggled out of Japan ahead of violent anti-mutant feeling. The nimble fighter has exquisite control over “mutant power”, which allows her to leap about the place, presumably kicking people in the head. She’s also quite upset about everything, especially at being a teenager.
X-Men Destiny is tentatively expected to release late this year, although Activision is yet to confirm platforms. The story was penned by comics veteran Mike Carey, who wrote the X-Men: Legacy mini-series for Marvel.
Thanks, Joystiq.

whoever works on this game from a artistic to graphical/technical level should have their heads rammed down a unflushed toilet, terrible waste of what could be a solid i.p

I know companies aren’t supposed to photoshop or alter screenshots of their games but in an occasion like this, I think they should have at least tried that. If only for the sake of viewers eyes.

I hadn’t thought of that. If that’s the case then God help us all!
