Nintendo to install 6,000 3DS kiosks in the US

Uncertain about another handheld? Pop into one of Nintendo of America's 6,000 demonstration points and get hands on with the 3DS before you make up your mind.

Gamasutra reports Nintendo plan to install 3DS kiosks at retailers over the next few months.

No further details were given, but it's safe to bet these retailers will include speciality and electric chains along with major department stores.

Best Buy will be hosting the console's official midnight launches states-side, featuring an appearance from NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime and a free carry case for the first 300 visitors.

The 3DS launches in the US on March 27; Keza has the low down.
