Kinect hacked to work with PS3, plays Killzone 3
Someone’s managed to hack Kinect for what feels like the millionth time. It’s worthwhile this time, though: it’s been hacked to work with PS3. And in the video below the break, via Kotaku, it even shows Killzone 3 being played using the motion camera.

Before you go believing everything on the internet, guys, there is actually a lot of controversy on online forums going around debating whether this is fake or real.
Probably the most common assumption is that he has a friend with a DS3 controller behind the camera, mimicking some very practiced movements.

You’re right – thinking about it more carefully, I imagine it probably is fake. You’d need to hack the PS3 game to support the Kinect, not the Kinect itself. I’m kind of guessing that the PS3 doesn’t have native Kinect drivers.
