Sony has moved over 3 million PS3 units in France since launch

I notice that in game retailers in Paris, there is usually more space reserved for PS3 games than for 360.

What are you talking about not really. It’s a fact that MS and Sony are last this gen. Wii sales in every continent dwarf the 360′s/PS3′s. Accept it and move on..

Bond has a point. The Wii may be targeted at a slightly different audience but it’s still in the console audience.

@lonndubh PS3 box covers are in front of 360 on most multi-platform game adverts as well, right?

Nope. PS3 sells more in most non-English speaking countries which include both Japan and France. 360 tends to sell more in English speaking countries only,like US,UK and Australia.

Riiight, and no-one knows the total figures of ps3 sales anymore since sony had that mess up where they said they had sold 41 million was it?

and since USA and UK are the largest gaming markets, they are doing something right.

@11, Over 48mil (I bet 50mil before the end of next month), #10 is right though, only in the US, the UK and here in Australia (& maybe New Zealand too) has the 360 outsold the PS3.
I bet by the end of the year the PS3 will have sold more than the 360.
