Patrick Stewart narrates The Sims Medieval intro

Possibly EA's marketing team felt The Sims Medieval didn't have enough gravitas to stand out from the pack, so they scooped the ringing Shakespearean tones of everyone's favourite captain, Patrick Stewart.

He's my favourite, anyway. This video is the game's introductory movie; unfortunately, there's no gameplay footage, although it does give an idea of the goal-oriented gameplay EA is aiming for this time, and was made with in-game assets.

The Sims Medieval releases for Mac and PC next week. See the trailer below, thanks to Gamespot.
