Friday shorts: Namco and Codies deal up, STALKER gets mod pack, GT Academy

  • Namco Bandai's signed up with Codemasters to distribute its games across various EU regions. The deal will span five games from Codies: DiRT 3, Bodycount, Operation Flashpoint: Red River and F1 2011. More on GI.
  • The new Tomb Raider film that was announced the other day? It's set to be based on the reboot of the series that Square Enix announced at the end of 2010.
  • The founder's pricing deal for MMO RIFT has been extended until March 31. Early adaptors of the game will be allowed to sub up to "a multi-month subscription" for £5.99 per month.
  • "Aussie government proposes 'fix' for mobile game ratings," says GameSpot following a meeting in New Zealand to discuss the issue.
  • Ubisoft's opened up pre-orders for Might and Magic on its UbiShop. There's a new dev diary here. Thanks, Blues.
  • Following confirmation earlier this week it was not to release in the UK, Ubisoft's been told off by PEGI over advertising for We Dare online. It's now been asked to pull its entire campaign from the internet. EG has the lot.
