Rumour - IPTV coming to Xbox 360 this year in the US

ZDNet's reporting that IPTV is set to come to Xbox 360 later this year in the US.

Microsoft is supposedly working on a project codenamed "Orapa" - which is the name of a game park and a city in Botstwana - which will add in elements of its TBA music and video service Ventura, as well as Xbox Life stuff including Avatar and Kinect support.

The site also claims that Microsoft is looking to get it out by this holiday season, probably as part of the dashboard update, although it's unclear if pricing will go past the present $60 pricing of Xbox Live or if it'll be offered alongside cable providers.

Xbox 360 already has IPTV in the UK in the form of Sky Player.
