Dragon Age's optional upgrade spruces PC textures

BioWare has released an optional upgrade for the PC version of Dragon Age II, jam-packed with high resolution textures.

The texture pack patch is available from the BioWare Social Network, and weighs in at over 1 GB.

Once downloaded and installed, the texture pack must be enabled from the game's options menu.

BioWare recommend a graphics card with 1024 MB of memory and DirectX 11 for best result.

Graphical under-performance was one of the few recurring criticisms of Dragon Age: Origins when it released in November 2009. The super shiny sequel arrives in the US today and almost everywhere else on March 11.
