Guild Wars Update travels to Embark Beach

NCSoft has released some screenshots from an upcoming Guild Wars update, which adds the Embark Beach outpost, expanded NPC parties, and more.

Embark Beach, featured in the screens below, is a new outpost in the Battle Isles which allows players and parties to travel between the game's four core campaigns and expansions.

As detailed on the Guild Wars blog, Embark Beach can be reached through the services of Zaishen scouts posted at all mission hubs, making it easy for players to zip back and forth to a central meeting point to find compatriots.

Additionally, ArenaNet has expanded the number of NPC "Heroes" the player can create, meaning if you prefer to play on your own, you can grab seven silent companions and fill your party that way.

If those aren't good enough, the latest premium addition to the game's store is the Mercenary Hero, a "snapshot" of your current, level 20 plus character, which can serve as a Hero to your alts.

Other new additions include two new types of daily quests and a couple of UI changes to make multiplayer more streamlined.
