According to a Joystiq report, a closed beta session for Motorstorm: Apocalypse is currently underway.
The site’s received a copy of the invitation forwarded to beta participants via a UK-based tipster.
The beta includes four scheduled event nights, to be held over a period of two weeks.
The invite specifically requests all beta participants to take part, as they will be conducted to test the servers and online matchmaking features of the game.
However, the server will be live at all times, and people can play the game as long as the beta is active.
A recent thread on the EU PS forums has shown that the beta appears as “Network Beta Trial Notification – PlayStation 3 beta Trial PSN” in order to disguise its identity.
A public beta is unlikely considering there’s very little time before the game releases.
Motorstorm: Apocalypse hits on March 18 in UK and April 12 in the US for PS3.
