Battlefield Play4Free’s Training Point customization options explained

Colin Clarke, a developer working on Battlefield Play4Free has posted a bevy of information regarding the micro-transaction shooter over on the Battlefield Blog.

Detailing the game’s class customization system, Clarke explained how the ability trees work.

Players can choose their class and then add “Equipment Expertise” and “Combat Expertise” specs to the chosen class, both of which will keep players from being locked into a specific style of gameplay.

Currently, Battlefield Play4Free is in closed beta and registrations are being taken now.

Revealed back in the fall, the game is slated for release this spring.

Thanks, Joystiq.

I liked it until the latest update. Since then, it´s a damn ripoff – again… But hey, it´s playable or free, so why am I complaining? :P
