Dragon Age II soundtrack to feature Florence + The Machine
EA’s announced details of the Dragon Age II soundtrack, including a collaboration with Florence + The Machine.

The Brit Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist is joining forces with BioWare to remake “I’m Not Calling You a Liar” for the OST.
The soundtrack’s being produced by Inon Zur and mixed by Jack Joseph Puig.
“With the band’s full blessings and enthusiasm, we isolated Florence’s original vocals from one of their most unique songs and completely ‘Dragon-Aged’ it,” said worldwide executive of music and marketing for EA, Steve Schnur.
“What was originally a powerfully stark, acoustic-based song has been reborn with all-new instrumentation and full orchestration. The results are an epic anthem for the next stage of the Dragon Age legend.”
The soundtrack will be included with pre-orders of the Signature Edition of the game, with part one set to be available on March 8: the day the game launches in the US.
Additional songs will be released on April 12 and May 10.

Bioware are dicks. They didn’t let Steam users get the chance to get the Signature edition.

@3 Another reason *to* buy it. Great song, and the version of I’m Not Calling You a Liar in the game is a slower, more melodic version that suits the game quite well.
