Minecraft coming to Android

Following news earlier this week that it was to become an iOS title, Mojang's now confirmed that Minecraft will come to Android this year as well.

Head of business development at the Swedish-based developer Danial Kaplan told Kotaku that it did have discussions with third-party developers, but decided that it would "do the iOS/Android version of Minecraft inhouse."

Earlier this week, Mojang co-founder Markus "Notch" Persson said that the title would come to iPhone and iPad as an iOS title.
