Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection's "Interlude" detailed

The mysterious third component of the Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection, Interlude, has been revealed as an - uh - interlude between FFIV and FFIV: The After Years.

Andriasang reports the all-new scenario was supervised by Takashi Tokida, lead designer on the original title, director of the DS remake, and producer of the sequel.

The events of Interlude put the player back in control of Cecil, beginning a few years after the end of FFIV, as the cast gathers to celebrate Damcyan Castle's restoration.

As well as the two games and Interlude, the Complete Collection features revamped visuals, a gallery mode, and the option to switch between original and newly recorded music.

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection hits Japan on March 24, the US on April 19, and sometime in northern spring for Europe.
