Scott Pilgrim game could have been Telltale-made adventure game

Scott Pilgrim creator Brian Lee O'Malley has said that Telltale was interested in making an adventure game based on the character.

Speaking on Twitter, O'Malley admitted he didn't really foresee a Pilgrim game as an adventure title. He said:

"Telltale wanted to do Scott Pilgrim but I said no. I couldn't see it as an adventure game. All respect to them, though."

The game was eventually handled by Ubisoft Montreal for PSN and XBLA, and released around the time the movie and the sixth and final novel in the series was launched.

Telltale, meanwhile, announced last week it was working on many other projects including The Walking Dead, Kings Quest and more.
