Report: Vietnam to block access to online gaming after 10pm

Vietnam News is reporting that the country has asked interner service providers to block off access to online gaming from 10pm nightly from March 3.

The block would be lifted 8am daily. The move is said to "mitigate the side effects of online games."

"Provincial departments of information and communication will inspect on-line games activities nationwide and deal with organisations that violate regulations by cancelling their services," said ministry deputy minister, Le Nam Thang.

The report adds further that the block would help improve internet management "in a way that both meets the demand for information and ensures internet security while not affecting the lifestyle and customs of young people."

There's more on the move through here.
