Protector Trials released by mistake, doesn't work just yet

2K has confirmed that the Protector Trials DLC for BioShock 2 has been released on the Games for Windows Marketplace. However, don't download it just yet.

According to 2K's community manager, Elizabeth Tobey, the DLC wasn't supposed to be released yet, therefore players are unable to access the content just yet.

Per the forum post: " ... wait till my word before you go grab it - it's not ready yet."

"These were not supposed to go live and I'm looking in to the mistake now," said Tobey. "Obviously, you know I would have told you ahead of any release date that the Protector Trials were headed to you. I'm sorry about the SNAFU."

Different forum posters saw the DLC pop up on GFWLM for $5.75. 2K will post an update on the forums when there is more information.

The certification process for the DLC was expected to be completed by the end of January.
