I played a couple of these the other night with a mate.
Golden axe – great fun but very very short.
Shinobi – hard as nails, I just can count that fast any more.
Anyway, all good games.

Volume 4 looks great – both Shining Forces, the best Streets of Rages, both Toejam and Earls, lots of Treasure goodness.

I’ll probably pick this up if the price is reasonable. But it’s disappointing that there are no Phantasy Star games here. I have been wanting to give that series a proper chance for years now. I have one of the similar console collections, which does have some Phantasy Stars but the days where I could just sit down in the living room playing console games for hours and hours are long gone. These days, anything that takes more than ten hours has to be played on my PC, in my office.
