Madden NFL Football for US 3DS launch

EA has confirmed that Madden NFL Football will arrive on 3DS in time for the handheld's US launch - but without some of the features fans have come to expect.
Joystiq reports the portable title will feature the ability to draw your own players with the stylus, and a 5-on-5 arcade mode.
Unfortunately, it won't utilise the 3DS's Street Pass system nor any multiplayer modes.
The handheld's cameras and gyroscopic controls have been similarly ignored.
