inFamous 2 confirmed for June 7 US launch, special editions detailed

Day one. I liked the first game, and am pumped even more for this one.

I like how far Sony’s 1st party studios have gotten with the PS3′s hardware, the textures & reflections from games like SOCOM 4, inFamous 2 & Killzone 3 look comparatively amazing… Yes Erthazus, I know that PC games still look better
Will definitely get inFamous 2, but after the price has dropped.

Europe gets more content then the US. A Special Edition and Cole skin from the first game.

Infamous 2 will be most improved sequel just like U2 with awesome graphics

Only the EU verison of the Hero Edition seems to have the inFamous 1 Cole Skin.

Jesus, no europe release date. I sure do expect the game to hit europe in june or july as well. I thought those days were over where a game would come out in the US and months later or even longer in europe. That’s probably not the case but i just don’t get it why they dont tell the EU date as well.

And does this mean that we still get the ‘young’ looking Cole in the normal version? Sure hope not, he looked like a jackass and also totally unnessecary.

That would be great. But i don’t get what they mean with the several skins, didn’t Sucker Punch completely change Cole to his old self because many gamers complained about his new look?

Ok thanks man, but this is great news. It took awhile for them to anounce the release. even though last year they said it was gonna be early or mid 2011. But i was getting afraid this was gonna be a september release or later, which i can’t have..with SO many other games coming around that time.

I wonder how much that version with the statue/figurine will cost, it looks great.

Looks Promising, Getting the Hero edition for sure seeing as how in the US the it is 99$ in europe it should be around £65/£75.

True man…i’m only gonna be going ‘Hell yeah’ when they announce the EU date too.

The first game was GREAT! I’m excited and its coming before E3 so this should help keep me from having Christmas syndrome waiting for E3

The first one was just surprisingly good, i expected a nice game after the demo but the game itself was so much better. The way the story builds up, the story itself, it was fun as hell to climb on buildings and use the powers. The ending was just a big ‘wtf’ moment as well, loved it. And i hated it when i finished it, cause i wanted to see what was gonna happen next .

But it can’t be long, i don’t remember how it was for the first one, but i think it was all pretty close to the US date.

Heh I was thinking about the release date yesterday remembering that Infamous released in the summer and hoping for the same with Infamous 2 and lo and behold what I see when I go to vg247 today. Infamous 2 announced for June 7. Hell to the yes.

The big CE sounds nice, will be pre-order when avaiable…
