Qriocity music service now available on PS3 in the US, AU and NZ

Sony has announced that its cloud-based, streaming music service Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity is now available in the US, Australia and New Zealand.

According to Sony, with Music Unlimited, folks will have access to over six million music tracks from "major recording labels, leading independent labels and major publishers around the world."

Users will be able to their existing music library with the cloud for a custom music experience via personalized music channels and playlists.

Music Unlimited also works on network-enabled BRAVIA TVs, Blu-Ray Disc players, Sony VAIO or other PCs and it will also be available soon on Sony mobile devices and PSP.

A 30-day free trial of the Premium service will be made available later this afternoon with monthly subscriptions running $9.99 for Premium or Basic at $3.99.
