Major Nelson has posted the Xbox Live Activity charts for the week of February 7, and unsurprisingly, Call of Duty: Black Ops heads the list of Live Titles.

Modern Warfare 2 hit second, and Halo: Reach is still hanging in there at number three. Sports titles took the next three spots, BFBC2, Modern Warfare 1 and Red Dead Redemption closed out the top 10.

    GTA IV? Seems abnormally high, did they run an event?

    Nope. I think it’s because of the free roam mode :)

    The episode add-ons were super-cheap in the Take Two deals a few weeks back, that might’ve helped. These are “people playing” stats remember, not necessarily “people playing online”.

    4 COD’s in the Top 11?

    Me is stumped. Don’t people have anything better to play?

    Why is it surprising that the games which outsell everything else would appear in the ‘games most frequently played’ chart? People tend to play the games which they buy, do they not? :-D

    It’s a real shame that they don’t show numbers.

    Right now MW2 is beating out Black Ops on Steam (29,8k users versus 29,4k users) and if I had to guess, I’d say that Black Ops doesn’t have much of a lead on Xbox either.

    On release Black Ops was pulling the same numbers as MW2 used to, but now it’s down to less than half. That says it all in my opinion.

    @9 That’s right, imho MW2 beats BO in every single aspect, I’m talking about PC versions.

    @8 It’s not surprising BTW, it’s impressive! ;)

    @9: Hmm… I don’t know how this could happen. For me Black Ops is the best Call of Duty since Modern Warfare (Multiplayer). Singleplayer it’s on top :P

    I don’t really care though, as long as I see 1 million + playing on XBL every evening I have enough competitors.
