Tecmo Koei delays, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles confirmed for 3DS launch

Tecmo Koei has announced a new release schedule, confirming Samurai Warriors: Chronicles at the 3DS launch, but delaying two other titles.

European community manager Chin Soon Sun tweeted the new schedule.

Warriors: Legends of Troy will arrive on March 11, the 3DS launch title Samurai Warriors: Chronicles will drop as expected on March 25, and Dynasty Warriors 7 has been pushed back to April 1.

The publisher previously announced a February 25 release for Warriors: Legends of Troy, with Dynasty Warriors 7 originally scheduled for March 25.

North American release dates have not been affected.

No official explanation has been given, although Sun noted that he believed the Canadian-developed Warriors: Legends of Troy might need some “fixing”.

If no release schedules elsewhere have been affected, it’s clear this is simply a regional issue as for example Dynasty Warriors 7 launches about two weeks after it launches in Japan & the US.
