Lord of the Rings: War in the North dev diary justifies game's existence

In this developer diary for Snowblind's War in the North, the team make no bones of tackling the question "why do I want to play another Lord of the Rings game?"

All props to Snowblind and Warner Bros. for openly addressing the problem of LotR saturation instead of sweeping it under the carpet.

The trailer takes a look at some of the game's environments and combat, as well as placing it within Tolkien's canon.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
