Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PC to release March 17

Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC version of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will release on March 17 in North America and "certain EMEA countries" and the March 18 in the UK.

The publisher has advised to check with local retailers as to specific dates in other countries.

Brotherhood's console versions released last November.

Ubisoft said in an investor call last night that the game has so far shipped 6.5 million units, and is expected to sell 7-7.5 million copies in its lifetime.

The next Assassin's Creed title is to be announced in May and will release in Ubisoft's fiscal 2012, which ends in March next year.
