Amazon UK and Tesco price 3DS pre-orders at £197
Those looking to pre-order 3DS in the UK may wish to do so through Tesco. The store has an offering going at the moment which would have you paying £197 for it.

According to Official Nintendo Magazine, when you pre-order, you will receive a special voucher code online to get the handheld much cheaper than other offers floating around out there.
Not to be outdone, Amazon has slashed its 3DS pre-order price to match Tesco’s deal.
Last month, Amazon cut its pre-order price for 3DS to match Asda’s £202 deal.
ShopTo is also accepting pre-orders at £199.85, but Tesco and Amazon will save you a couple pounds.
However, all good things must come to end, and the Tesco deal is no exception: the offer ends tomorrow.
3DS is out in March, and the handheld’s UK launch line-up was revealed yesterday.

@1 certainly not it has to be below £80.00 for it to be just right, considering the 3DS is a piece of shit, Nintendo are ripping us off.

Considering the latest iteration of the DS, the DSi XL, is still being sold for around £140-£150, that price seems pretty fair.
Not that I think Nintendo and retailers will have any trouble in selling the 3DS, getting it under £200 will surely be much more appealing to consumers.

I’m so cynical to these PR exercises. I bet they have a few at that price. Traffic is generated. People buy other stuff while they’re there. They win.

getting it under £20 will be best, otherwise customers will be wasting their money on a piece of garbage which costs £197!
