MLB 11: The Show trailer features Joe “Yankee Killer” Mauer

I don’t even know the rules of baseball, and this trailer for MLB 11: The Show made my hair stand up. Presumably if you have any idea what “Joe Mauer” and “Yankee Killer” refers to you may need a new pair of underpants.

This trailer is so special that it comes with its own blurb, helpful for those of us to whom baseball is a strange thing they do in countries without proper football.

“Down by 1 run, cover athlete Joe Mauer looks to clear the bases and put the Minnesota Twins into the lead. But he’ll have to overcome a 0-2 to count to Yankees ace C.C. Sabathia. Can the Twins captain come through in the clutch?”
