LinkedIn profile turns new Bond game rumours up a notch

Give the old rumour anthill another stir; a Raven employee's LinkedIn profile has added fuel to the speculation fire that a new Bond game is forthcoming.

Gamespot reports that an unnamed Raven staffer's resume mentions an "unreleased international movie license action/adventure game at Raven Software".

Later, the staffer's involvement with "an unreleased high-profile movie-license action/adventure game using the Unreal 3 engine" is touted.

The game in question is said to have been in development for one year and eight months, matching earlier suggestions.

In December, a Bond fan site reported that an on-again off-again MGM-sanctioned Bond game was in the works at the troubled studio.

Footage of the game was unearthed at the time, and rapidly buried again.

Last month, a resumption of Bond film efforts again sparked reports that a new game was in the works.

Raven parent Activision hold the game rights to several prominent film franchises, so don't get your tuxedo dry cleaned just yet.

The last Bond game, the standalone Blood Stone, was poorly received, and may have doomed developer Bizarre Creations.
