First LA Noire gameplay video is go

Rockstar’s released the first in a series of gameplay videos for LA Noire. It’s after the break.

The video shows off the PS3 version of the game with shootouts, investigations, hand-to-hand combat, chasing suspects and more.

The Team Bondi title, five years in development, releases on May 17 in the US and May 20 in the UK for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

no way…the game’s graphics WAS A PIECE OF SHIT ON PS3!
But the storyline WAS AMAZING!

This is why I love LA Noire! it’s like Mafia 2+Heavy Rain= LA Noire!

I love the facial animation, best ever in any game! Now I know why this game took ages to be made and advertised

I hate PC Gamers!
they are nothing but graphics fucking hoes!

remember when I said sins of the solar empire is a new genre. There is no other game like it and it will never ever run on a console it’s too complex. Pc gamers are light years ahead of consoles. Pc gamers are picky gamers for reason.

Fuck me….This will be a great game! Looks like the engine of RDR but then highly polished. Maybe a bit too clean, but nevertheless very impressive.

How was Mafia 2′s gameplay terrible? you have shooting, fighting and driving:/ The ps3 port was a piece of shit nothing more. The overall presentation of the sandbox was not good enough however you should remember it isn’t trying to be like GTA. Mafia 1 had a sandbox style, Mafia 2 is just it’s successor and not trying to be like GTA.

After trying Mafia 2′s sandbox…I now learnt to appreciate GTA4′s sandbox as the best.

I definitely enjoyed Mafia 2 even though the ps3′s version was a piece of shit.

BDH actually calls the facial expressions of Mass Effect better than this? I’m sorry, i love ME and ME2 but the facial expressions have nothing on LA Noire. Anyone can see that, but it doesn’t surprise me one bit…that clown flat out hates anything Rockstar.

@67 Yeah, I also love both ME games but did feel that the facial expressions were a bit weak here and there. LA Noire, as far as I understand, uses what seems to be extremely accurate facial mocap whereas Bioware (and Bethesda) use generated facial expressions and lip sync based on the audio file for voice. So BDH’s statement that Bioware’s facial expressions are better is kinda… you know, laughable. (No offense to Bioware, obviously. I love them :D )

By the way, I’m an avid PC gamer, but as much as I love a lot of PC games, you sure do miss out on some good stuff. So I got myself a PS3, and I’m going to get this, and I’ll likely be happy! I don’t see why some people can only like one console/computer.

The facial and body animations looks absolutely incredible. I don’t think I’ve seen a game with animations this good. I cannot wait to get my hand on this.

I bet a 100 on 1 that LA NOIRE, gonna be a hit just like RDR, and why not, RockStar is a famous game-disigner in the world, they comes with original gerne like Bully on PSP, GTA4 & RDR & LA NOIRE on PS3, all those are best-sellers, other game-designers are stinky jealous of Rockstar…

K2 tried to beat Rockstar with Mafia II, but the Graphics are terrible for what i red online on Mafia II forum, and the story-line wasn’t sandbox-ed(as K2 was promised) but cinematic ending, and all those DLC to make Mafia II more complete, all K2 care about was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$,

I don’t know if K2 will make a hit with Duke Nukem game that comes out…
Sure i would like to buy LA-NOIRE why not, im a RockStar fan, also can’t hardly wait for GTA5 :P

@84, yes i know Take 2, owns RockStar and K2, but Take 2, are more happy about RockStar than K2, what i red here on VG24/7, that RockStar makes blockbusters and K2 tried to beat RockStar(never) :P

Awesome, the case/chapter mechanic is cool and interesting, while the faces look really cool.

Only downside is the protagonist’s face: he doesn’t seem really bright…
