SOCOM: Special Forces video shows off-screen multiplayer footage
Some new multiplayer footage of SOCOM: Special Forces has arrived on the internet that was shot during a Zipper Interactive media event held last month.

The video, which is shot off-screen, shows plenty of action from the multiplayer side of Zipper’s new title, which will supports up to 32 players upon release.
SOCOM: Special Forces, which will come with full support for PlayStation Move, is out in the US April 19 for PS3. No date for Europe yet.

That guy sounded like a complete hick…
“Now you gon done zactly what i deed, hiding behind ammuuneetion… durp”
I hope that wasn’t one of the developers!
game looks nice graphically, although am i right in saying there making this one more like COD? Mind you, that seems to be happening with every game these days! Also, what happened to the new Ghost Recon Future Warfare game or whatever it was called?

Yeah…..Because he’s black, right? That was so darn racist. I bet if it was a guy with another accent you wouldn’t have noticed.
And what if it was a developer? Christ…..

No, because he sounded like a hillbilly to me… And yes, i don’t think a redneck attitude is that suitable when making a game based around military actions

@2, STFU, don’t even try to make something out of nothing, he was talking about his southern accent, nothing more.

here’s some footage of a guy from the UK Gadget show playing Socom (and other games) using move. The footage is a bit old and you’ll have to forgive his over enthusiastic view of anything he plays, but it looks quite good to play with the move device. I think a game like Socom would maybe be more useful to play with move over a game like Killzone, although having tried nether, i wouldn’t know!

also, it seems like developers are really getting into their stride with PS3 games, most of the texture work on the exclusives i’ve seen are looking very nice. I wonder when we will see a new console though, my 360 is really starting to creak, i will prob get a PS3 this year, mainly because my girlfriend wants to try the Uncharted series but still would love to see a new console from Sony/Nintendo/MS… I was hoping with the XBOX slim they would chuck a bit of extra memory in just to help with framerates and such but it wasn’t to be!
