People Can Fly parody downloaded 1.25 million times

People Can Fly’s parody shooter Duty Calls has proved as popular as some real shooters, racking up over a million downloads since its release last week.

The Bulletstorm Twitter announced the milestone, celebrating on the game’s Facebook page by giving out some luvverly wallpapers.

People Can Fly also took a gentle jab at Halo with one of their trailers.

Bulletstorm is due for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 22 in the US and Australia, and February 25 in the UK and Europe.

Call of Duty wasn’t a measuring stick, you dummies at EA and Epic made it that way. I personally don’t like any CoD title except CoD 1 and 2 which I love, and I can say I liked CoD4 too, but the way people making such an ass of themselves makes me sick.
